FAQ

Store FAQ – Burnt Cedar Silver

  • What is sterling silver?
Sterling silver is 92.5% pure silver mixed with 7.5% other metals (usually copper) for strength and durability.

  • Are your turquoise stones real?
Yes, we use genuine turquoise. Listing will be noted if the stone is natural. Most stones we source are stabilized in some way. Stabilization is often needed to increase durability of the stone and to protect the natural color. We absolutely do not use any turquoise stone that has any color enhancement. We take pride in only sourcing high quality and hand selected stones.

  • Will sterling silver tarnish?
Yes, over time it can tarnish. Regular cleaning and proper storage help maintain its shine.

  • Where do you source your turquoise?
